I felt led to encourage some of you who feel like you are in a dead kind of holding pattern right now and you have been asking the Lord in your heart, "Is there anything more than this?" and the Lord wants you to know today that He is still very much with you and yes!, there is definitely much more than this! You have just been having the final touches put on your wineskin so that you can hold the new wine that is about to be poured into you and to stand strong in the days just ahead.
PS 63:1 O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
God has been coaxing you to press in closer to Him right now even though you feel like you are dry and running on mostly flesh right now. This drought is about to end and the mighty downpour that God is about to send will create a virtual flood of His presence that will not only flow into and satisfy your dry and weary soul, but it will flow out of you to everyone around you no matter where you are! So hang in there dear one, and get ready for the biggest deluge of God’s Spirit in history!
PS 107:9 for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
