Religion made christianity possible to underemphasize the gospel outside of spiritual intimacy resulting christians that think living under the blood of jesus is about escaping this evil world to find joy only found in the after life.

Outside of spiritual intimacy is spending eternity with a God who in our own eyes is a historical figure who is uninvolved with our present reality.

If the Gospel was about reserving a fulfilling life in heaven. We would believe that Jesus dying on the cross was not enough to reunite our intimate experience to have a relationship with God in our present reality.
