DON'T BECOME WHAT YOU DESPISED WHEN YOU WERE A YOUNGER EMERGING MINISTER
I see an unfortunate tendency at times with some younger leaders who once were rejected and under authoritarian controlling leadership of older leaders, that when they get a little older, and start experiencing some success in ministry, becoming just like what they despised, and following similiar patterns with those under them.
Instead, I want to encourage young leaders to become the servant-leader
you really wanted in your life at that time. Don't fall into the same
patterns of those whom you felt had you on a plantation only for their
own selfish purposes. Rise above those carnal patterns and follow in the
leadership example of Jesus.
