Today's word on 6/30/2016,

Embrace it as a gift that you have been deprived of the things of this life. Embrace it with giddy excitement. For what you have been deprived of, said the Lord, is where He will be your gift, instead. The love of friends, husband, wife, parents, and even self will all be replaced by Him. He will now be your staff, the One you lean on, and He will fulfill. You have not been deprived of any good thing, you have been given a precious opportunity and a gift. To live in His presence, to supp with Him, to be fulfilled beyond your wildest imagining. Embrace your gift with a grateful heart, turn to Him instead of feeling bereft. You have been given a lovely and precious gift, for which many before you have waited. Do not let your heart be troubled, for He calls you to Himself. You have been led to where you are for reasons beyond this world. He does in you a wonderful living work, and you will be changed in His presence.
